Our best wishes for your health and happiness in 2025!
We at precog co., LTD. would like to thank you for the tremendous support we received from you last year.
The year 2024 was one in which new activities of ours accelerated. We initiated preparations for Aichi Triennale 2025, an international art festival, and set various programs in motion, including IN TRANSIT – a performing arts project spanning different cultures aimed at assisting artists who aspire to international activities, and seminars for companies and public administrative authorities.
This year, these programs are finally going to be translated into actual performances, and we hope to deliver them to you in visible forms. We are heading to Nagoya, Seto, and various other cities, and are looking forward to meeting all there. In addition, THEATER for ALL is already entering its fourth year since its beginning.
I should add that 2025 is the 19th year since the founding of precog. Here on the threshold of our 20th anniversary, I am always thinking about how to proceed next. Again this year, we are counting on your continued advice and cooperation as we press forward in our endeavors. We are counting on your continued support in 2025!

■IN TRANSIT – a performing arts project spanning different cultures
We are launching this project to stay beside the principals of performing arts aspiring to activity on the international stage in this important process, and support them in the advisable action to this end. For the 15 subjects, we are holding lectures by people with the needed expertise and know-how, and providing support in areas such as interchange at international festivals and networking. Review of topics in 2024
In 2024, controls imposed to control the pandemic were lifted, and overseas tours finally resumed on a full scale. It was also a year in which we strove to prepare creative environments for people involved in culture and the arts, and offer accessibility design and study programs for art-related people, educational institutions, and public administrative authorities, in addition to conceiving and creating works in the performing arts field, and showing them overseas. We are truly grateful to all of the people who assisted us in these activities. Below is an introduction to some of these programs.
■Introduction to works for which precog was involved in conception and creation
chelfitsch & Teppei Kaneuji’s Eraser Mountain in Tokyo (2024)
This was the first Tokyo performance in three years of Eraser Mountain, an ambitious play by chelfitsch in collaboration with the artist Teppei Kaneuji. Doubts about the human yardstick, the concept behind the work, have become more real after the pandemic. To deliver this concept to people with more diverse standpoints and perspectives, we took measures including fuller support for viewers and establishment of invitation quotas for youth
ELECTRONICOS FANTASTICOS! (Electromagnetic Bon dancing at the site of Fukuoka Castle)
This program brought together the artist Ei Wada, the members of ELECTRONICOS FANTASTICOS!, and about 40 members of the NICOS Team organized in Fukuoka, for Obon dancing to the rhythms and accompaniment produced by old electrical/electronic products. It was performed in conjunction with FaN Week, an art event held as part of a project promoted by the city of Fukuoka.
