contact Gonzo × yang02 “jactynogg zontaanaco ジャkuティー乃愚・存taアkoコ”, which was presented in May 2023 as a program of “TRANSLATION for ALL” organized by precog, will be performed on September 13 and 14 at Taipei Arts Festival.

This is the first overseas performance of this work in which contact Gonzo’s improvised performance is recognized (misrecognized) as images, verbalized, and spoken through AI installed in a self-driving machine created by yang02. This marks the first international performance of the piece. Through the “translation” act of unknown bodily expressions by an ever-updating interactive AI, which challenges the relationship between physical expression and language, we invite you to look forward to how the piece will unfold in the context of a new language.
